In April 2015 accomplished model, actress, Zainab Sheriff introduced herself to the world as an artist with her debut single ‘Naughty’ followed by the “Mamie Na Power” a song which according to her label supports the promotion of women’s empowerment.
Over the weekend at an annual charity event held in Freetown, Zainab Sheriff stormed unto the stage after her song “Mamie Na Power” was abruptly stopped by Milton Coker a.k.a Colabo ( President of the All Stars Artist Union).
According to reports from inside the house, Colabo had strictly instructed the DJ on the night to only play Sierra Leonean songs as it was a Sierra Leonean event, he says.

The Dj proceeded to play Zainab ‘s new song “Mamie Na Power” which Colabo then told him to stop playing because it was “Nigerian”
Understandably Zainab was frustrated and staying true to her personality, she got on stage, took to the mic and addressed Colabo’s remarks.
“The only reason Colabo would mistake a song like the Mamie Na Power that is written and compose in krio by a signed Sierra Leonean singer to a leading record label sugar entertainment produced in Freetown is simply because Calobo is genetically stupid. “, Zainab further wrote in her Facebook Page reaction
However there were other members present at the function, including comedian Sara d Great, who were not so pleased with the singer’s response and she was asked to publicly apologise at the event.

So with all things being said, we could see where Zainab was coming from with her reaction.
It must be a bit upsetting, but Colabo, as the president of all stars you should really be familiar with the products of members of your union or artistes from Sierra Leone.
Anyway what are your thoughts on this issue, was Zainab in the wrong or do you think her actions and response were justified?.

I don’t see any wrong in zainab reaction, she was provoked n humiliated infront of other stars n important guests by her so call all stars president, who doesn’t know how to handle issues professionaly.as for Sara d Great he’s a complete kunt.
zainab sheriff is right. She is a s leonean her song deserved to be played
What zanaid did was the best way she reacted to colabo’s stupidness
Hundred Percent, Zainab was right to address him in that manner. In the first place Colabo lost his ethics by telling the DJ to stop the playing of a song that was already in progress. As an Organizer of a show, no matter what happens you don’t force to take a mic from an M.C. on the stage. If Colabo had doubts on the song played he should’ve ask his colleagues or go to the Dj and find out about the song. Mere stupidity that he exhibited.
When idiots nd mediocres lead there followers suffer from their stupidity. It’s not only Zainab that has suffered from that but a lot Sierra Leoneans are.
