Former United Nations Under-Secretary General Alhaji Dr. Kandeh Yumkella and Former US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton were both keynote speakers at the third anniversary of the Global Alliance for clean cookstoves in New York.
The event gave both parties and opportunity to speak on wide range of issues affecting growth in the world.
Just recently, Dr. Yumkella was a keynote speaker at the Clinton Global initiative annual meeting in New York also addressing on how countries around the globe can sustaining growth.
As both development experts run for the Presidency of their respective countries i.e, Sierra Leone and America, well-meaning Sierra Leoneans both at home and abroad say this is happening at a time of growing uncertainty in the country, when a visionary leader, with a track record of linking small impoverished African Nation with global institutions, credible and reliable private sector to create jobs and wealth.
According to them that will lift the People of Sierra Leone from abject poverty.
