The result of the November/December 2015 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been released today, Thursday.

However, the released result is only currently available in Ghana and Nigeria.

This has thrown confusion into many Sierra Leoneans who are worried as to when the result will be released in their country.

Close sources has however told Sierraloaded that the result will be released in Sierra Leone after two weeks of release in Ghana and Nigeria.

In an interview with the head of WAEC Sierra Leone, Mr. Patrick Dulu, he said it is their aim and responsibility to conduct and monitor all examinations across the country and to make sure that all results are out after the conduct of the exams.

“…thanks to God that we successfully ended the marking exercise,” said Mr. Dulu told Sierraloaded last month.

The release of the result will brighten the chances of some candidates who will need it to process their admission in colleges and universities.

It is expected that within 24 hours of release, candidates can access the result.
