Outspoken and fearless senior opposition Politician, Mr. John Benjamin yesterday told Radio Democracy 98.1 that those calling for President Ernest Bai Koroma to stay in office after his second and final term ends in February 2018 are “sycophants”.

Mr. Benjamin noted that, those people want to continue to collect money from the President that is why they have been calling on him to continue to in office even after his mandate ends in February 2018. The SLPP flag bearer aspirant noted that “More Time” is for failures.

Mr. Benjamin admitted that President Koroma is a man who respects the rule of law. “The law is the law…The President cannot change it just because he wants to remain in office,” said Mr. Benjamin.

The former SLPP National Chairman/Leader called on President Koroma not to encourage those sycophants who are calling for “More Time”. He described them as “dangerous opportunists”.
