The accused Tonia Tucker who told the court that she had given birth to two kids for the complainant, Tamba Konsodo Tengbeh has pleaded guilty to one count of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm.

She pleaded guilty on the 1st September, 2016 before Magistrate Aboubhakarr Binneh Kamara.

The accused who was not given chance to explain what actually transpired between herself and the complainant has been sentenced by the presiding Magistrate of Court No. 1, Magistrate Binneh Kamara to two month imprisonment or pay a fine of three Hundred Thousand Leones (Le300, 000).

The particulars of offence state that the accused on 8th June, 2016 at Model Junction assaulted Tamba Konsodo Tengbeh.
In the same court, Magistrate Binneh Kamara has committed a case of Robbery with Violence involving Abdulai Kamara to the High Court.


The accused, Abdulai Kamara who was committed without bail was charged with four count charges ranging from conspiracy to commit a felony contrary to law, Robbery with violence to wit Malicious Damage.

On the charge of robbery with violence, the particulars of offence states that the accused on 13th June 2016, at No. 3c Barrie Lane, Deep Eye Water, Waterloo robbed James Abdulai one 36 inches LG plasma, digital camera, nokia phone, physical cash, DVD laptop player among many others all to the total sum of eighteen million ten thousand Leones (Le18, 010,000).

On the charge of assault, the particulars of offence states that the accused on the same date and place assaulted Kongoma Massaquoi in a manner occasioning to Actual Bodily Harm. The matter has been adjourned to the 8th September, 2016.

Also in Magistrate Court No. 1, Magistrate Binneh Kamara has remanded Alusine Sheriff on his first appearance in court for an allegation of Sexual Penetration with a child under the age of 18 to wit 13 years.

According to the particulars of offence, the accused on the 27th February, 2016 had sexual penetration with a child under the age of 18.
