In order to extend their humanitarian empathy to the sick and appreciate the management of Koidu Government Hospital, the first lady of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Mrs Sia Nyama Koroma and the minister of Lands,country planning and environment Madam Diana Konomanyi have ended their visit at the Koidu government hospital.


Making her key note address on behalf of the visiting team, the first lady thanked both the KGH management and PIH for their joint efforts at the hospital.

She described the hospital as first among equals in the country with the pretest that there is now improvement at the hospital. She says herself and the minister of lands including the APC government will continue to give a helping hand to the hospital and other areas of interventions in the district.

The first lady therefore encouraged the doctors and nurses to continue their good works. Dr Manso Dumbuya is the district medical officer,he thanked the first lady and the minister for their steps taken to visit the hospital.

He described the visit as timely and at the right direction. He says their visit has proved to them that the first lady and the minister have them at heart. He pledged his influencing support that the will continue to work as a team with their partners.
