Another 6-year-old girl has been raped in Kabulor in Lokomasama chiefdom.

The incident happened on 2 July but she was only brought to the Aberdeen Women’s Clinic in the Sierra Leone capital on Friday after receiving treatment at the Lungi public hospital.

“There’s no sign of fistula but she’s extremely traumatized and [can] hardly speak”, a source at the clinic told BBC’s Umaru Fofona.

She’s the latest in a long string of cases of girls who’ve been raped in the country, despite a life sentence accompanying conviction of such.
